What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. On a return visit the browser hands it back, which is how a site remembers a preference such as your consent choice. Similar technologies include local storage, which works the same way from your point of view.

Strictly necessary

Two entries fall in this group. A PHP session identifier keeps your enquiry form secure against cross-site request forgery and disappears when you close the browser. A consent record named sd_consent stores what you chose on the cookie banner and lasts six months.

Measurement

If you accept the measurement category we may record anonymous page-view counts to understand which door series people look at most. No such script runs before you accept, and none of it identifies you personally.

Marketing

The marketing category is presented on the banner and is switched off by default. At the time of writing we run no advertising or retargeting scripts on this site. If that changes, the banner and this page will list the scripts before any of them load.

Third parties

Fonts are served from Google Fonts, which receives the request needed to deliver the font file. The cookie banner library itself is hosted on our own server, so it makes no outside request.

Changing your choice

Use the cookie settings control at the bottom left of every page, or the link in the footer. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies entirely, though the enquiry form needs its session cookie to submit successfully.

If you do nothing

Nothing beyond the strictly necessary entries is set. The banner will simply appear again on your next visit.
