What a visit is like
Nobody follows you around
Walk in and look. If you want to be left alone, say so and you will be. When you are ready, whoever is on the floor will take you through the differences between the series and let you handle the hardware rather than describing it.
Bring photographs of your entrance and a rough opening size if you have one. It is not required, but it turns a browse into a useful conversation.

Yard visits
The Kapar workshop, by appointment
Some customers, particularly architects and contractors, want to see the fabrication rather than the finished article. We run yard visits on weekday mornings, and there are two conditions: closed shoes and a booking, because a working shop floor is no place for a surprise.
You will see the cutting bay, the welding jigs, pretreatment, the powder line and the test frames where every leaf is hung before dispatch. It is noisy, it is not glamorous, and it explains our lead times better than any email from us ever could.

Collected from handover forms and follow-up calls. Names shortened at their request, areas left in so you can judge how close the work was to you.
We replaced a rusted grille that came with the house. The measuring appointment was on time, the quote had no surprises, and the crew swept up the drilling dust before they left. Two years on there is not a mark on the coating.
I wanted the wood look without the maintenance. They talked me out of solid timber for a west-facing porch, which cost them a bigger sale, and put in an aluminium wood leaf instead. Straight advice.
Fitted a five-point steel door and a fingerprint lock at my shoplot. The lock had a fault in month three and it was swapped out the same week under warranty, no argument.
The showroom visit made the decision easy. Being able to push, pull and slam the actual doors tells you more than any brochure. Good people to deal with.
Ordered a double leaf for a wide opening. Delivery slipped by a week because of the coating queue and they called to tell me before I had to ask. Fitted properly, closes with one finger.
