The opening is measured twice
Once at quotation and again before cutting. It costs us an extra visit and saves a leaf that fouls the tiles by three millimetres. Nothing goes into fabrication on a customer-supplied sketch alone.
Sentinel builds safety doors for Malaysian houses: aluminium bar work that lets the evening air through, steel leaves that resist a crowbar, timber mains with a plate hidden inside. Measured on site, made in Kapar, fitted by the same people who quoted you.

Anyone can weld a frame. What separates a door that still closes sweetly in 2040 from one that drops on its hinges by 2029 comes down to a handful of unglamorous decisions taken long before delivery day.

A heavy door on light hinges is a warranty claim waiting to happen. We match hinge count, lock case and closer to the actual weight of what we build, not to whatever is cheapest in the store that week.
No subcontracted installers, no vanishing act when something needs adjusting a year later. The team that carries your door up the driveway is on our payroll and comes back if you call.
Every series carries the same locking options and the same warranty logic. What changes is the material, and material is really a question of where the door sits and what the weather does to it.

Extruded aluminium bar work that will not rust, will not warp and barely needs looking after. The workhorse of Malaysian entrances.
Open the series
A sublimated wood-grain skin over an aluminium core. Reads as timber from the driveway, behaves like metal for the next twenty monsoons.
Open the series
Folded galvanised sheet, reinforced stiles and a five-point lock. Where the brief is simply the strongest door we can build.
Open the series
Kiln-dried hardwood with a concealed steel plate and a multi-point lock. The main door that guests notice and burglars regret.
Open the seriesThe mortice pocket, the wiring channel and the backset are cut for a digital lock whether you order one now or five years from now. That single decision at fabrication saves an ugly retrofit later.
We stock capacitive fingerprint units, app-paired models with an access log, and camera viewers that capture a still when somebody stands too long at your gate. All of them keep a mechanical override.

Resistance lives on the edge of the leaf, not on its face. Three or five hardened bolts spread the load across the height of the door, and fixed hinge bolts hold the closing edge even if a pin is cut from outside.
Behind the lock case sits an internal rib, so a pry bar loads the entire structure rather than a thin panel. It is invisible once the door is hung, which is exactly why we keep a cutaway leaf on the showroom floor.

Call, write or walk in. We ask what the opening faces, what the wall is made of and what you are trying to stop. Fifteen minutes usually narrows a hundred designs down to three.
A technician measures the brick opening, checks the reveal and photographs anything that affects fitting. Free across Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Negeri Sembilan.
Cutting, welding and powder coating happen at our Kapar yard. You get a date in writing when the deposit is taken, and a call from us if anything moves.
Old door out, new door in, seals dressed, lock paired, dust swept. We hand over the touch-up stick, the keys and the warranty sheet before we leave.

Photographs flatten everything. Bar spacing, grain depth and the weight of a leaf on its hinges only make sense in person, which is why we keep working displays in Klang, Kapar, Setia Alam and Puchong.
Walk in during opening hours or book a slot and we will have the finishes you shortlisted waiting on the bench.
Collected from handover forms and follow-up calls. Names shortened at their request, areas left in so you can judge how close the work was to you.
We replaced a rusted grille that came with the house. The measuring appointment was on time, the quote had no surprises, and the crew swept up the drilling dust before they left. Two years on there is not a mark on the coating.
I wanted the wood look without the maintenance. They talked me out of solid timber for a west-facing porch, which cost them a bigger sale, and put in an aluminium wood leaf instead. Straight advice.
Fitted a five-point steel door and a fingerprint lock at my shoplot. The lock had a fault in month three and it was swapped out the same week under warranty, no argument.
The showroom visit made the decision easy. Being able to push, pull and slam the actual doors tells you more than any brochure. Good people to deal with.
Ordered a double leaf for a wide opening. Delivery slipped by a week because of the coating queue and they called to tell me before I had to ask. Fitted properly, closes with one finger.
Stock sizes in the aluminium range are usually fitted within seven to ten working days. Made-to-measure leaves, wood-grain finishes and steel fire-rated doors run to three or four weeks, because the coating and certification stages cannot be rushed. We give you a date in writing when the deposit is taken and call you if anything moves.
No. Removal, disposal and making good around the reveal are part of the installation price. Leave the old door where it is so our crew can check the fixings before they cut anything.
Often, yes. It depends on the backset, the door thickness and whether the existing mortice can be reworked. Send us a photograph of the lock edge and a couple of measurements and we will tell you before you buy anything.
Small chips can be touched in with the matching stick we hand over on completion. Anything larger within the coating warranty period is our problem to solve, either by refinishing on site or by taking the leaf back to the yard.
We install throughout Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Negeri Sembilan with our own crews. Beyond that we supply and arrange freight, but the fitting would be by a contractor of your choosing.
For most landed homes, a grille door plus a solid main door is the right combination. A grille alone gives you airflow and a visible deterrent but far less resistance to a sustained attempt. We would rather explain the difference than sell you the wrong thing.
Yes, and there is no charge for it. If the old door has resale value we will tell you, since some older wrought iron work is worth more than the scrap price.
Three pieces we wrote because the same questions kept coming up at the counter.

Most people walk into a door showroom with a photo on their phone and walk out with something completely different. That is not a bad thing. Here is the order we would think through the decisions if we were buying for our own house.

Digital locks are sold on features. Fingerprints, apps, cameras, voice prompts. What decides whether you are happy with one three years later is far more boring than any of that.

Doors rarely fail suddenly. They stiffen, they squeak, they collect grit in the track, and one day the lock will not throw. Ten minutes twice a year prevents almost all of it.
Read the guideThe quickest way to decide is to stand in front of the real thing. Our Klang showroom keeps every series on display, hung and working, with the digital lock wall beside it.
